Basic Idea:
- Intended to develop leadership presence, know-how, and skill
- Effective leaders must incorporate all 3 levels simultaneously
- Personal leadership is the most important level
Self-Mastery
Inner (Personal) Level
- evolving one’s leadership presence
- developing trust with followers
- enabling behavioral flexibility as circumstances change
- staying focused on core values

Outer (Behavioral) Levels
- Expand one’s technical know-how and skill
- Fostering positivity toward other people
- Establishing psychological self-mastery

Modern Leadership Model
- Created in 2011 by James Scouller
- Combines past theories w/ contemporary ideas
- referred to as the "Integrated Psychological" theory or "3P model"
