1. A life cycle is defined as the complete succession of changes undergone by an organism during its life.
2. All organisms go through stages of development.
3. Environmental conditions such as water, temperature, and light affect the development of organisms.
4. Birds go from the egg, to the chick, to the adult.
6. Amphibians like frog go from the egg, to the larva, to the adult.
7. Plants go from the seed, to the seedling , to the flowering plant.
8. Insects like butterfly go from the egg, to the larva, to the pupa, to the adult.

What are mammals?
Mammals are a particular class of animals.
What makes an animal a mammal?
- Give birth to live babies.
- Have only a few babies at a time
- The female feeds the young milk from her body
- The young are taken care of for a long time
- They are vertebrates, which means they have a backbone or spine.
- They are warm blooded creature. That means they can regulate their own body temperature which allows them to live in almost every climate on earth.
- Every mammals have fur or hair on them and almost all mammals have teeth.
