Because of the difference in available materials after the war, the class of the clothing also changed.
Men's fashion didn't change much, but the Pants they wore became fuller and the waist bands were brought higher.
-This is due to the fact that most men were in war at the time.
Wool sweaters were worn during the duration of the war, but they cost a lot of rationing coupons.
Once the war was over more types of fabrics were made widely available.
-more lavish dresses were created, and people could spend more to make them.
