- Benzoyl acid or Salycylic acid face wash with topical cream such as clindamycin or differin
What is acne?
- the occurrence of inflamed or infected sebaceous glands in the skin
- most common in teenagers
- red or white pimples on the body
Causes of Acne
- clogged pores and over production of body oils
- dead skin cells stick together inside the pore rather than shedding
- often linked to diets (sugar and dairy)
Symptoms of Acne
- facial or body blemishes
- white heads, black heads, scars, and cysts
- low self-esteem and depression

Cellulitis Treatments
- two week oral antibiotics (dicloxacillin, cephalexin, levofloxacin, moxifloxacin, clindamycin, etc)
- pain relievers, rest
- hospitilization if intravenous antibiotics are prescribed
Symptoms
- pain and tenderness
- redness and inflammation
- sores or rashes that grow quickly
- tight, glossy, swollen
- warm skin around infected area
- shaking, chills, sweating, fever
- fatigue
- muscle aches

- bacteria from Staphylococcus and Streptococcus
- 50-60% of cases from cuts, bites, or surgery
