Use a recipe display to…
- Encourage customers to try new products
- Increase sales on slow moving items
- Give customers a reason to spend more then what they were planning on spending. This is a fast, easy way to create a full meal.
- Long term- increase cart sales average
- Increase awareness of our online recipes and social media

- Not being able to keep the display stocked due to parameters, causing out of stocks
- Originally ordering up on items caused back stock in the back room
- “No Where” for the special buy

- Flashier signage, and costs
- Check lane blast options
- Engage employees
- Not bold enough signage
- Customers are not familiar to the display
- Shorter time period
- Price change in produce
- Blueberries went from $1.25 to $1.59 and Strawberries went from $1.25 to $1.99
- Out of stocks in produce due to supplier issues
- Customer preference- Recipe was not a full meal, cheaper and easier to buy premade or mixed drink
- The display was not bold enough, and customers did not have time to catch onto the concept
