- This cash crop stimulated colonial economy
- The massive need for labor to grow tobacco lead to indentured servants and slavery
Tobacco in the Columbian Exchange
Tobacco had the most significant impact of any good or product transferred in the Columbian Exchange during this time, especially in regards to the economy of England and America. This cash crop resulted in many changes worldwide, and continues to impact the world today.
