Summary

Lord of the Flies is a book about a group of kids that don't know each other but were all put on a air plane. As they were flying the plane they were on ended up getting shot down and the boys get trapped on a deserted island. The boys end up finding a food source and try to survive.

Ralph shouted this to all the boys when he was still the leader of Jack and the hunters.What this quote means is that they need more wood to keep the fire going so they can survive and cook. This makes the boys savage becouse they need this fire to servive in the wild and cook the food that they gather

Ralph says this to the boys. The kids are all acting like a bunch of savages instead of being civilized. They are no longer listening they are now all running around doing their own thing like savages.

The boys are gonna do what every they can to servive. That means kill anything and eat anything. The boys are more like savages due to them having to hunt and gather all of their food out in the wild.

1. More wood! All of you get more wood!

Jack and his hunters all chant this as they kill the pig. This shows how the boys have changed became savages, the boys are chanting this as they killed the pig. The boys shouting after killing a pig show how much of savages they have become.

Savages

All of this you have learned about how the boys were and became savages in the Lord of the Flies. The boys becames savages to servive on their island in hope of being saved.

I liked the book, it was alot better then Hamlet and it also had a little bit of killing and action. It was easy to read but i only wish the book was a little bit longer so we could learn what the boys all did after they were rescued.

Ralph blows through the conch to take order and get all the kids to one spot. The conch represents power.
