APCO created a campaign promoting Mercedes-Benz that resonated with the government as well as the public which generated positive publicity for the company.
2)IKEA:
Implementing a utilized media strategy and tactical support, APCO helped IKEA greatly expand its popularity. APCO completed such a challenge through radio coverage including more than 150 total media hits.
3)University of Southern California:
USC was in need of aid in raising awareness for promoting the university’s upcoming convention. When called upon for assistance with such a need, APCO secured high-profile interviews. The interviews as well as other strategies ultimately led to widespread coverage which established USC’s reputation among the U.K. media.

4)Sprint: The “No Takeover Project”:
APCO created a stakeholder engagement campaign that led to positive media exposure regarding Sprint’s recent opposition to merge with another company (AT&T’s proposed acquisition of T-Mobile).
5)Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club:
The Hong Kong Yacht Club suffered an inaccurate image portrayed in the media; APCO designed a campaign that centered on public involvement to reach out to numerous groups. The club revolutionized its public image and gained public support. The club also received permission to remain at its existing location.
The area of PR that would most interest me would be Government and Public Policy. The vicinity of PR that would intrigue me the most would be Government Relations and Policy Research & Analysis, due to my interests in the fields of law and politics within a company.
What you learned:

I learned the importance of a stakeholder, which is a group, person or organization that has an interest or concern in an organization. The significance of stakeholders is imperative, especially within a company.
