What is Postcolonial Literature?
- A body of literature work that responds to intellectual discourse of European colonization.
- Postcolonial Literature is written by people who have been forced to be colonized by another country (mostly Europeans). Writers talk about the changes that have happened and what they "like" and "dislike" on the situation. Postcolonial Literature writers are the best people to show the affects and consequences of the colonization. They describe what was lost and what has been changed. What should they bring back when they have finally regained their independence.
