- Evidence are the facts or ideas that support the claim.
- You need to set up or introduce your evidence -- what is it?
- Finally, provide reasoning for your evidence -- how or why does it support your claim?
- A counterclaim is a statement opposing the original claim. What does the other side think?
- A rebuttal disproves the validity of the counterclaim. Why is the other side wrong?
