4.Lyrics on the Album
The Beatles were one of the first bands to ever print lyrics on there album. The album is "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band". After this release if would become non-standard to not print the lyrics on the album cover.

The Beatles were one of the first successful bands to "make it big" as a ensemble of performers that each sang and played a separate instrument. This was revolutionary in a time of solo artists backed by bands and boy bands with pre-recorded music. This made way for other bands and artist to make it big.

The Beatles were the first band to ever perform in a stadium setting. This first concert was a Shea Stadium, New York in 1965. The concert was thought to end up a flop, but sold out 55,000 tickets in only hours. These concerts would mold every large stadium concert for decades and effect music forever.
The Beatles extreme chart success would forever set a standard for artists forever to come. From there huge success in 1964 with 14 songs in the Billboard top 100 and 5 hitting top 5 it would be a record not yet surpassed.

In 1966 The Beatles contract with EMI ended and they then revised for another 7 years. A year later they created there own label named Apple Records. This was a first for any artists and while still being signed to EMI was extremely complicated and dangerous. In the end The Beatles created mayhem but set a standard for other artists.
The Song "Hey Jude" changed alot of listeners over from AM stations to FM stations during it release as a single. The reasoning behind this came when the song would only be played for 3 or less minutes on the AM stations, and then the whole song on FM stations.
During the earlier years of The Beatles the guitar and small bands were a dying trend due to pop super-stars like Elvis. But the Beatles brought the band back into the light and would forever change the face and sound of rock and roll.

The Beatles may not have create the very first themed music video after one of there songs but they popularized the theme of doing so. The first song that The Beatles did this on is "Paperback Writer" in 1966.
