#1 Temperature change

#1 plants

- Ice wedging is an example of temperature change, Because when the water seeps threw the cracks of the rock they freeze and then the water thaws and then freezes again causing the cracks to get bigger and break the rock apart.

  • Weathering

- Plants can have weathering because some plants grow in the cracks of rocks looking for nutrients and water. as the roots get bigger , they widen in the cracks and break the rock apart.

#1 Gravity

  • Erosion

- Gravity causes erosion because when gravity pulls down on Earth, this causes material to move gradually down a slope < this process is called creep.

The tree is looking for water and nutrients while breaking the rock apart.

The gravity on earth is pulling the tree's down causing a slope and creep

#1 Water

  • Erosion

#2 Wind

  • Weathering

- When rocks abrade the wind blows sand against other larger things which cause that to happen.

The wind is causing sand to rub against the rocks.

- Canyons can be carved by water. When river are moving the water erodes the sides away carrying other particles\sediments.

- Runoffs can be part of it as well because it takes all the weathered particles and as the rain goes it can erode,

#1 Wind

Wind can cause erosion and weathering.

  • Erosion

- Saltation is part of it because it's when sand particles bounce across the Earth's surface in the direction of the wind.

- Deflation is another thing that happens with wind erosion, that that happens when the top layer of fine sediment is leaving behind particles that are too heavy to carry.

This shows deflation.

#2 Water

  • weathering

-When rivers abrade the sides and the rocks that are the bottom of the river also when the waves crash into the rocks

The waves are crashing against the rocks causing abrasion

5 Agents of Erosion and Weathering.

Weathering, Erosion and Deposition

Deposition is when moving water, wind, or ice slow down or stop, the particles they were carrying settled down on earth's surface.

This show's the sediments slowing down or stopping

All these three thing's come together because they help each other out.
