What Else Makes

up the BASC-3?

  • Pearson Education, (2018). About the BASC-3. Retrieved from https://www.pearsonclinical.com/education/products/100001402/behavior-assessment-system-for-children-third-edition-basc-3.html
  • Used to measure adaptive and problem behaviors
  • Forms describe specific behaviors, rated on a four-point scale of frequency, ranging from "Never" to "Almost Always."
  • It contains 105-165 items.
  • Validity and response set indexes used to help judge the quality of completed forms are also available.

I would recommend this assessment to teachers. I think there is great value in have three perspectives into a child's emotional and behavioral challenges. I also think the guides, parent tips, and lessons/activities are beneficial in planning intervention in students' areas of weakness
