The Great Gatsby Timeline of 1922

Early June
- One Saturday morning, Nick receives a invitation from Gatsby to his party that night
- At his first party, Nick finds Jordan and personally meets Gatsby for the first time
- Jordan has a private discussion with Gatsby
- One morning, Gatsby appears at Nick's door offering lunch
- On the car ride, Gatsby tells a story of his life
- During the lunch, Nick meets Mr. Wolfshiem
- At afternoon tea with Jordan, Nick hears about Gatsby and Daisy past relation and agrees to Gatsby request that he organize their reunion at his house
- When Nick arrives home, he talks to Gatsby about the reunion
Mid August
Spring
- Nick has his first dinner with Tom, Daisy, and Jordon
- Tom, Daisy, and Nick attend Gatsby's party
- Daisy and Gatsby have a private conversation
- Nick and Gatsby converse about the whole affair and Gatsby reveals he wants to relive the past
Early September
Late August: Day after Climax
- Nick sees Gatsby for the first time on the docks reaching for a green light
- Nick goes to see Gatsby in the morning and gives him a compliment
- Tom tells Wilson it was Gatsby car
- Tom and Daisy leave for an undisclosed location
- Wilson shoots himself and Gatsby around 4 in the afternoon
- Nick finds bodies
- Nick visits Mr. Wolfshiem who refuses to attend the funeral
- Gatsby's father shows Nick his son's childhood schedule
- Gatsby's funeral

- Reporters and policemen swarm Gatsby's mansion
- A letter is sent to Wolfshiem

- Tom sees Daisy say "I love you" to Gatsby
- They all drive to the city
- In a hotel room, the affair becomes the topic and the nervous Daisy does not agree to leave her Tom
- Daisy runs over and kills Myrtle

- Gatsby is left waiting outside house if Daisy needs him
Spring, May
- One Saturday morning, Nick visits Gatsby to find Tom and some other people visiting
- Tom and Gatsby converse and officially meet
- Gatsby and Daisy reunite and restart their past relationship at Nick's house
- Gatsby, Nick, and Daisy go next door to Gatsby's mansion and see his shirts, bedroom, piano, among other things.
- One afternoon, Nick and Tom visit Myrtle in the Valley of Ashes
- They have a small party in a hotel room
- In a drunk confusion, Nick does a collection of things
