- September 5th, 1997 Mother Teresa dies caused to a cardiac arrest.
- October 19th, 2003 Mother Teresa is beautified
- Mother Teresa was born Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Macedonia, on August 26, 1910.
- Her family was of Albanian descent.
- Mother Teresa wrote a letter to the church so she could leave the convent and do Gods work. In April 1948 she got her request and it was approved by the Pope Pius XII. In December Mother Teresa started a school for the poor.
- January 6th, 1929 Agnes goes to Darjeeling to finish her studying and testing to become a nun.
- May 24th, 1931 Agnes takes her first vows and changes her name to Teresa.

Mother Teresa's First Calling
- 1938 - 1948 Sister Teresa is assigned to the Loreto community in Eastern Calcutta (today known as Kolkata). She becomes a teacher at St. Mary’s High School. Where in 1944 she becomes the principal.
- November 29th, 1928 Agnes leaves her home for the Loreto Convent in Rathfarnham near Dublin, Ireland. The Sisters of Loreto have a missionary program in India at the age of 18.
- Starting October the Missionaries of charity is approved.
- 1957, Mother Teresa works with the lepers of Calcutta.
- 1963, the Missionaries of Charity Brothers is established.
- 1965, the Place of Peace for the lepers is opened, otherwise known as Shanti Nagar.
- 1979, Mother Teresa is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
- 1985, Mother Teresa receives the Medal of Freedom from the United States of America
- 1987, The Missionaries of Charity start helping people with AIDS.
