Stages of Prayer
- This next postition called sujud, shows the Muslim's humility.
- The worshipper says quietly, "Glory to my Lord the Most High Allah is greater
- The next position is seated and called julus. The worshipper gsays a short silent prayer.
- The prostration is repeated.
- To end, the worshipper says a short prayer for the Muslim community and for his own sins to be forgiven.
- This is the final stage of Prayer
- The worshipper looks left to right and says "Peace be with you and the mercy of Allah

The Rak'aBegins
- To open the rak'a, the words Allahu Akbar - Allah is greater (than all else) are spoken.
- Then their God, Allah, is praised and the first sura (chapter) of the Qur'an is spoken together with a second sura

Why?
- After another passage of the Qur'an has been read, the worshippper bows down to show respect to Allah. This is called ruku'.
- Following the ruku' is the quyam, where the worshipper stands and parises Allah.
