Common Myths about Feminism
1. All Feminists hate me..
No.... Just.. No.... Feminism is about equality for every one, men included.
2. Feminism only applies to white women.
While this may have been the case (to an extent) during the women's suffrage movement in the late 1800's to early/min 1900's, modern day feminism is far more inclusive and certainly not restricted to the rights of white women (or even women for that matter).
3. Only women can be Feminists..
Anyone can be a Feminist as long as they believe that everyone deserves to have equal rights and be treated both fairly and with respect.
