- 1960 - Approxamateyly 10,000 students are attending 60 schools across the country
- June 21-24, 2012 - hosted fourth national event in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
- April 24-27, 2013 - hosted fifth national event in Montreal, Quebec
- September 18-21, 2013 - hosted sixth national event in Vancouver, B.C.
- March 24-30, 2014 - hosted last national event in Edmonton, Alberta

Early Stages

- 1876 - Indian Act is enacted --> allows government to establish Residential schools
June 11 2008 - Prime Minister Stephen Harper offers a Statement of Apology to former students of Indian Residential Schools
- June 16-19, 2011 - held first national even in Winnipeg, Manitoba -->announced intent to repeal sections of the Indian Act that created Residential schools
- June 28-July 1, 2011 - hosted second national event in Inuvik, Northwest Territories
- Oct. 26-29, 2011 - hosted third national event in Halifax, Nova Scotia --> will commemorate legacy of residential schools with stained glass artwork
- June 2001 - Indian Residential Schools Resolution Canada was created
- May 30, 2005 - Government launched Advance payment Program
- MAY 10, 2006 - INDIAN RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL SETTLEMENT (IRSSA) AGREEMENT BECOMES LARGEST CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT IN CANADIAN HISTORY
