- Created in 1886
- Atlanta pharmacist, Dr. John S. Pemberton created a flavored syrup and mixed it with carbonated water.
- Sold it in the neighborhood pharmacy for 5 cents a glass
- Pemberton's bookkeeper was credited for naming the product "Coca-Cola"
