In the new improved layout we tried to minimize the distance and time between the family section and the kitchen because large flows of food and people sections so should be next to each other. And layout can effect the customers’ decisions of ordering so placing the family section and single section next to the kitchen where its closer to them might encourage them to order more food and reduce the time of picking the food up. The playground location was changed so it will eliminate the difficulty of movement and allow them to move freely.

Based on the results above it will reduce the cost from $950 to $830 which helped in improving efficacy and speed of the services . which means providing an entertaining and fun experience that insists upon a clean, friendly and attractive environment for customers.

Orders take more time to move and reach to the family section because of the distance between them.

The family section should be closer to the kitchen because it’s a section with large flows of food and people so should be next to each other.

• A successful implemented layout design could be a breaking point for a restaurant and should be given top priority. Based on that we chose the process-oriented layout that which is a typically the low-volume, high-variety strategy. It is the most efficient when making products with different requirements or when handling customers with different needs, which is the priority in a KFC restaurants’. The machines and activities are grouped together. Products move for processing according to need. KFC Workers operate within one area, but may be multi-skilled enough to work across areas.

• The main focus is to develop an effective and efficient layout to help achieve the main goals and strategy of the KFC and lower the costs.

KFC has been using differentiation strategy depend on geographic segmentation that focuses on provides different products that customers demand so they understand different culture to satisfy customer need and they also depend on demographic segmentation, in demographic strategy the market is divided into groups based on age, gender, family size, income, occupation, religion, race and nationality that to satisfy customers need and also they focus on psychographic segmentation that means to divide a market into various groups based on lifestyle, personality, or social class characteristics.

Also KFC have response to customer need and lifestyles they work to satisfy customer needs by developing menu items.
