This parasite is one of the most deadliest parasites in south Africa. This Viral infection can be infected when in contact with an animal that was infected which makes a food-borne viral infection. Ebola is also one of the hardest to diagnose mainly because after a few days you have had it the symptoms start to show. This virus is very contagious only if you have been in contact with human blood or secretion of an infected person.

These symptoms can happen anywhere in the body. They also can start from 2-21 days, but it mostly happen between 8- 10 days.

What happens to body?

Ebola attacks the human body's organs and tissues,it also effects the bones and skeletal muscles in the human body. It then makes it way to the bold stream. This then cause haemorrhage, which is loses of bold.

Ebola Containment and Quarantine

Epidemiologist

Keeping The Town Safe From Harm

Dr.Farral

If this deadly Ebola outbreak is not contained, the entire town will be destroyed. Luckily, this outbreak can be stopped, but it will require a plan. There are several ways to contain the outbreak

The rate of infection is 8-10 people a week, by an estimate of 307 weeks the entire population will have been infected. The Ebola virus thrives in rural areas where infected animals and or animal carcases are most likely to infect someone. The calculations I made to estimate the number of deaths until the entire population was infected, I multiplied the number if deaths a week by 7 and divided by the population number. Incubation period is anywhere from 2-21 days.

If the outbreak is not stopped, the town will be destroyed. However, there are ways to not only contain the virus, but also quarantine and evacuate the town. During an outbreak, Ebola is not easy to contain, but it can be done by isolating sick patients and wearing protective clothing. Contact must not be made with sick patients because the disease is highly contagious and bodily fluids or secretions can infect you. As for the bioterrorists, response kits have been developed. These response kits contain Ebola vaccines and cleaning supplies for any areas that could be infected. As the administration, we have planned a few evacuation routes to quarantined areas outside of town. We think the safest evacuation route is through the west side of town, as it seems to be the cleanest area so far. As for quarantine, we have prepared procedures. First, wash your hands and do not come into contact with ANY infected patient. Second, be sure to follow all procedures and guidelines for the safe quarantine and evacuation of the town. Lastly, do not panic because we have everything under control and panic will only disrupt cleanup efforts. As for food and water, we have a portable filter that will clean the water and make it safe to drink, and food will be cleaned and boiled to make it infection-free. Thank you all for your cooperation and we hope to have this mess cleaned up as soon as possible.
