Ronald reagan has an interesting childhood.

He was born on February 6, 1911 in an apartment

in Tampico, Illinios. When he was a boy he was called

Dutch because when he was born his father said,

"He looks like a fat little dutchman". He had a big

brother named Niel, and niel and Dutch loved to get

into trouble. His mother was a sweet and nice woman

that donated and volunteered all the time, her name was

Nelle. His father was a hardworking salesman named John,

John believed that all men were created equal. There is

more to Reagan than his childhood.

Dutch had many interests. When he got to highschool

he loved football. He was short and skinny but that didnt

stop him. He soon gained muscle and had a growth spurt, and

he got on the team. When Dutch was 17 he got a job as a

life guard at Lowell park. While he worked there he saved 77

people's lives! He also loved to horseback ride in his spare

time. He also soon joined the Calvary Reserves. He has done

much more than this.

Reagans accomplishments are great. He loved to

be onstage and to watch sports, so he got a job at a radio

station, announcing football games. The radio station was called

WHO, WHO sent Ronald to California to cover a game. While he

was there he met with agent, Bill Meiklejohn, to tald about Ronalds

acting career. After that he met with an important casting

directory, Arnow, and he made Ronald a star! Later Ronald

signed with Warner Brothers. Later in his life Ronald Reagan

became the 40th president of the U.S.

As you can see, Ronald

Reagan had many accomplishments.

He was in the Calvary Reserves. He

saved 77 people's lives. He was a movie

star. He was also President of the

United States. I hope you can see now
