Plot Events
1.Shiloh follows Marty home.
2.Dad says Marty has to give Shiloh back to Judd. But Judd is mean to Shiloh and that's why Marty wants to keep Shiloh.
3.Shiloh runs away again but this time Marty builds a secret dog house for Shiloh to stay in.
4. One night a German Shepard hurts Shiloh very badly.
5. The Preston's took Shiloh to Doc. Murphy. Judd finds out that Marty has Shiloh, and comes to their house and makes the Preston's bring back Shiloh to Judd on Sunday morning.
6. Judd shot a deer out of the season and Marty saw it happen while he was on his way to talk Judd into selling Shiloh on Sunday Morning.
7. Marty endedup making a deal with Judd that He would sell Shiloh for 40 dollars.But Marty would work for Judd 2 hours each day until he had the money to pay for Shiloh.
Problem
1.Judd is treating Shiloh badly.
2.Marty doesn't have enough money to keep Shiloh.
3.A German Shepard injures Shiloh badly.
Solution
1. Since Shiloh got hurt they take Shiloh to Doc. Murphy's house late at night.
2.Marty talks Judd into selling Shiloh.
But he has to work for Judd 2 hours each day.
Author's Purpose & Perspective
The authors purpose to write this book is because she want's to teach readers to take care of animals. I can tell becuase it makes me want to take care of animals too.
