Place- where

Time- when

Cause- why (what caused this)

Purpose- why (what was the reason for doing this)

Concession- why is this unexpected

Condition- under what conditions

2.) Even though Katie kissed me, I fainted.

3.) Chris kissed me after I fainted.

4.) I fainted as Mat kissed me.

ADVERB CLAUSES

An adverb clause is a dependent clause that acts as an adverb. That is, it modifies the verb in a sentence in the same way an adverb does.
