- You make a lot of money so off the job you live a very calm and easy life
- But the bad side is that you have to be very secret about your job and can be away for months at a time
- leading to not having very much of a personal life
Responsibilities
- I am tasked with top secret missions all over the world
- I am mostly sent to get foreign intelligence for the government that way they can make decisions based on other countries actions.
- I am also given the task of helping with other specialized missions that the government gives me like taking out a corrupt leader
Hours
- Hours can vary depending on what is happening in the world and what the government needs at that time
- One day you may have nothing to do then the next you could be on a plane to the Dominican Republic for 60 days with no contact with family
Wages
- As a protective agent in the CIA you will receive somewhere between $70,095 - $78,592 a year for the 5 year contract that you have to sign when starting the job
CIA Protective Agent
Training
- You need at least 7 years of previous military experience
- You also need to have had some experience with being in a special operations branch, protective operations, or as a S.W.A.T officer.
- Not only that but you need to have a drivers license and be in top physical shape
Education
- You also need to some sort of knowledge of the Microsoft word program and at least a Bachelors Degree in collage
- They also recommend that you be trained in some sort of medical situations
Different Carrers in the CIA
- You do not have to be a spy to be a CIA agent
- You can be an accountant, attorney, or even a librarian
- I want to be a protective agent for the CIA
- I will travel around the globe to preform tasks for the government
Uniform
- Most of the time you are just trying to blend in with the rest of the population you are in so you wear what they wear
- But if you are at home in the CIA office you wear a suit so that you will look more formal
Risks
- Well you can obviously die on the job because you are dealing with very dangerous people
- Your family is also at risk because if your personal info gets out criminals can use that to take advantage of you
- You may also get fired if you do not do your job but that is the least of your worries
