Day 21 - They finally made it to the summit at 20,320 ft. After celebrating, they made it safely back to high camp at 17,200 ft
Days 17-20 - The number of deaths were getting higher everyday, but Ruth Anne and her team played it safe and waited at 14,000 ft for the storm to pass. Finally, it cleared enough for them to climb up to 17,200 ft and set up camp.
Days 10-16 - They are caught in a huge storm with 100 mph winds and are snowed in at Camp V. They have to battle frost-bite and their own sanity from being stuck in the same tent for days with no idea when the storm will clear.
Days 8 & 9 - They are caught in the middle of a storm, with 60 mph winds and snow, but they are able to make it safely to Camp V and set up camp (at 14,000 ft)
Days 4-7 - They are snowed in at 9,500 ft for a day, but the storm passes and they are able to make it to Camp IV (at 11,000 ft)
Days 22 & 23 - They climbed back down to camp at 14,000 ft, and the next day went all the way back to base camp.
Days 2 & 3 on the mountain - They climb to Camp II and set up camp (at 8,000 ft), come back for the rest of their gear, then climb to Camp III and leave their gear there for the next day (at 9,500 ft)
May 3 (Day 1 on the mountain) - Her and the climbing team fly to base camp on Mt. McKinley and set up camp
When Ruth Anne got home, the media swarmed her wondering how she had survived Mt. McKinley's worst storm ever.
