In order to getting closer to the perception of museum visits two concepts were generated upon the data related to museum visits.

  • the weakest positive attitudes and the strongest negative attitudes on museum visits
  • agree: preference on other cultural activities, museum is not the proper place for learning, learning is more effective from books
  • disagree: museums provide important knowledge, museum visit makes you more open-minded, appreciation of objects in museums is a good feeling
  • the second strongest positive, the second weakest negative attitudes on museum visits,
  • agree: museums provide important knowledge, museum visit makes you more open-minded, appreciation of objects in museums is a good feeling
  • disagree: preference on other cultural activities, museum is not the proper place for learning, learning is more effective from books
  • the highest internal motivations (among museum visitors), the external motivations are average
