facts:

  • Some Inorganic Contaminants are more damaging to infants and pregnant women.
  • Some contaminants cause cancer

Inorganic Pollutant

- elements or compounds found in water supplies and may be natural in the geology or caused by activities of man through mining, industry or agriculture.

- Amounts above the Maximum Contaminant Levels may cause a variety of damaging effects to the liver, kidney, nervous system circulatory system, blood, gastrointestinal system, bones, or skin depending upon the inorganic contaminant and level of exposure.

Biological Pollutants

Water pollution comes from man made waste and natural waste. This makes the water malicious and unusable. According to studies the number of people that dont have access to a water source is 780 million. Also there is more than 2 billion people in the world who are using polluted water.
