Rough ER-

Transport Droids

The rough ER's job is to finish and transport the protein.

The transport droids job is to polish the metal if necessary and transport it to different parts around the Death Star

Cytoplasm

The inside of the Death Star

The cytoplasm is everything inside the cell

Everything inside the Death Star is part of the Death Star

Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum

Death Star Bomb Makers

  • The smooth ER is the place in the cell that produces hormones
  • The Smooth ER is similar to the bomb makers because they make hormones which are reactions that are triggered in one part of the death star but effect another

Cell Analogy project

The Death Star

Proteins-

Metal

proteins provide structure, transport, are used for hormones, and enzymes

The metal of the Death Star is used to build stuff, to make droids, and for many other things

Ribosomes-

Metal Refinery

Ribosomes make proteins

The metal refinery takes space junk, melts it down, and molds it to fit the current need for that peice of metal.

Vacuole

The Storage Bay

Stores stuff for cell

Storage bays are where all the big tanks and walkers are stored until needed

By: Aiden Hall and Jarod Disher

Nucleus

Nucleolus-

M.R. Construction Crew

The nucleolus makes ribosomes for the cell

The M.R. construction crew is in charge of building and repairing the metal refinery on the ship

Death Star Command Center

  • nucleus is the part of the organelle that holds the DNA
  • The command center because it has all the plans for the death star to carry out

Golgi Bodies

MITOCHONDRIA-

The Main Reactor

Mitochondrian provide energy for the entire cell

using glucose

Secretory Vesicles

The Ship Transporters

The secretory vesicles job is to transport hormones

The ship transporters transport the bombs out side the Death Star

Packaging Droid

The main reactor on the Death Star provides

electricity for the entire station using hypermatter

Golgi bodies package molecules fo transport around the cell

Packaging droids package object for movement around the Death Star

Lysosomes

  • The Lysosomes are the organelle in the cell that gets ride of unwanted waste and bacteria

  • Lysosomes are similar to the trash eating monster in the death star that eats all the unwanted things on the ship.

Cytoskeleton

The Support Beams

The sport for the inside of the cell

The support beams support the inside of the death star from collapsing

Peroxisomes

The Storm Troopers

  • The protector of the cell
  • Even though the Storm troopers can't ever do their job very well, they are the protectors of the Death Star

Centriole

Cell Membrane

The Landing Bays

  • The cell membrane controls what goes in and out of the cell

Cell Wall

  • The landing bays control what can come in and out of the cell

The Blue Prints

Outside Shell

Centrosome

Two or more centriole

Blue prints for the Death Star plus the ships and robots in it

  • The centriole is used for cellular reproduction

The cell wall is supposed to provide structure and protection

The force field of the Death Star provides protect from objects

  • The blue prints are the only way to figure out how to make a new Death Star

Cytosol

the oxygen

this is the liquid substance that all the organelles float in.

The oxygen surrounds everything on the Death Star

Chloroplasts-

Hyperspace

Chloroplasts provide glucose to the mitochondria

Hypermatter (glucose) is supposedly found in hyperspace but is never confirmed to come from anywhere only that it is what most ships in Star Wars get their energy from.
