Treatment for Nightmares
Nightmares range from children to adults and vary person to person, and because of that there is no specific treatment. However, what does help includes...
-Aerobic Exercise
-Relaxation Therapy
-Talking your nightmares out
-Documenting your nightmare patterns, when they occur, and what you did before.
However, if your having recurrent nightmares this could signify a sleep disorder and you should visit a doctor or therapist.
What are Night terrors?
Although nightmares can be very terrifying, nightmares and night terrors are very different.
Night terrors usually occur for children between the ages of 3 and 8, and are rare to occur after wards. By the time they wake up, the children have no recollection of what happened unlike nightmares.
