  • Traces of corn have even been found in our hair
  • Create new seeds
  • Provide farmers with what they need to grow lots of corm
  • Agribusinesses need cheap corn so they can make processed foods
  • Make billions of dollars in profit

Ingredients With Corn:

  • Caramel
  • Cornstarch
  • High Fructose Corn Syrup
  • Gluten
  • MSG
  • Vitamins
  • and many many more...

Farm & Farmers

  • 2 million out of 300 million Americans are still Farmers
  • Farms have gotten bigger, less farms
  • Less farmers are needed because there are more tractors and machines to help get the job done
  • Used to have a variety of crops and livestock on farms such as Horse's, fruits & veggies, Oats, chicken, cows, etc
  • Now it's only Cows, soybeans, corn, sheep, oats

G.M.O

Feedlots

  • Stands for Genetically Modified Organism
  • GMO Corn isn't bred by two different corn plants, its created in a lab by adding genes from another plant or animal to the corns DNA
  • No one really owns "corn"
  • When a corporation creates a new type of corn, they charge farmers for the right to grow it.
  • consuming Monsanto's genetically modified corn can lead to cancerous tumors

A feedlot is where livestock are fed and fattened up. Feedlots are packed with animals all squished together and they're basically swimming in manure. Animals manure is used as a fertilizer for the fields, and because of this, feedlots are filled with deadly bacteria. Unfortunately, some of these bacteria may be getting into our food.

On a small family farm, cattle's would be fed grass and hay, the food they are supposed to be eating. But on farms today, cattle's are being forced to eat corn because it's cheaper.
