  • Hares fur turn white to hide in snow
  • Hares big legs help them walk on snow
  • Grizzly bears hibernate in winter
  • Eat extra food to keep warm
  • Thick fur protects them from cold
  • Wolverines claws help them climb
  • Thick fur keeps them warm
  • Owls are nocturnal
  • large sharp beaks help kill prey
  • sharp talons help grasp prey

  • The oak has a deep root system to help collect water
  • It is protected by thick bark against cold
  • The elm has strong woo, it requires maximum pruning in captivity

Introduction

In The Taiga, the crisp fall makes green confir and spruce trees needles hang to their branches. Imagine walking through the taiga. Snow blankets everywhere and birds chirp to the boreal song. Red foxes hunt and birds fly south for winter. Read on as I tell you more about this intresting biome.
