Third Stage
The Hurier model provides a foundation for us to consider key aspects of the listening process.
In this stage we retain information for future use. This can be long term or short term
Second stage
Judi Brownell, a listening researcher developed the Hurier Model. This model takes a behavioral approach to listening.
The listener relates to what was heard, asks questions, and paraphrases to be sure of the message .
Fourth stage
In this stage we make sense of the message told. We use dual-perspective which is understanding the senders perspective along with ours.
