Plan and develop new web applications, maintain and improve existing ones.  Work with 3rd party vendors and manage Jr. Web Developers and other staff working on the website.  Designed a content management system from the ground up, integrated .net ecommerce site with ColdFusion website.  Developed numerous web applications including a fully function jobbank, and a unique visitor tracking system.
 
Moved to San Francisco
after my wife was accepted
to Grad School
Returned to

Contracted on projects for some impressive companies
Started another company that makes websites for dentists
But one client kept urging me to give up contracting...
...and I accepted!

Sr. Software Engineer, D&B Digital - Helped created multiple new features on AllBusiness.com, hoovers.com, dnb.com, and related properties.  Led the initiative to roll out features related to social networking, and wrote open source CF APIs for facebook, twitter, and yelp (can be found on riaforge.com).  Gained experienced scaling coldfusion to a massive scale (30+ servers) and the techniques necessary to achieve a high level of performance.
