What is agile?
Agile is a software development process where the manifesto is:
Individuals and interactions over processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan

For our purposes:
A strategy for doing that values committing to small things at a time and remembering the big picture.
This is one process for personal projects or team projects. Adapt it to fit your needs!
Week 0
4 week sprints
Clarify why you want to the projects you want to do. What makes you and your team, company, or product unique? How do you want people to feel when you've completed your project? How do you want to feel? What would a shining news article say about you when the projects you want to do are complete?

my mission is:
Now take what you learn from all that great visioning and turn it into a one or two sentence description of what makes you or your project unique and why you're doing it. Mottos should be easy to remember and feel inspiring and exciting.

cultural visioning
Desired Feelings / Attributes - What are the three key feelings or attributes do you want to define you? All the projects you do should support these attributes.
Best Week - What does your best week look like? Where do you go? Who do you see? How do you spend your time? What kind of people, places, things are around you?
Starting Backwards - List all the things you spend your time on. Ask yourself why you do each of those things and keep asking why until you get to the underlying value.

What do you want the news to say about you in 6 months? 1 year? 3 years? 5 years?

What's important now? Pick 1-3 objectives to focus on for the next three months, then choose some measurable goals for those items.
