Intellectual Property Rights including copyrights, trademarks, patents, industrial design rights and trade secrets are critical to building wealth and often require legal support to codify. PATENTS AS STRATEGIC ASSETS Leveraging the Law and our buying power Patents provide a limited monopoly to the inventor. In order support our sector, we need to create resources so more of our member minority technology companies have the capacity to pursue the patent process; which will further spur innovation and wealth creation. Patents resulting from the production of patentable ideas can increase the valuation of small companies.
