Transcript of Engaging English Language Learners with QR Codes

What are QR codes?
Barcodes on steroids!
Used for encoding info
When scanned, they can launch a website, download a file, open an app, and many other possibilities!
Was this activity successful?
Huge increase in motivation and engagement
Students learned a useful digital skill and produced language throughout
Activity was focused on the task, not the tool!
