What is the Talkingabout concept?
Talkingabout is an approach to learning through the experience that conversation brings.
It allows the collecting of experiences of a video conversation and then, from it, to construct a discussion. A conversation via open points of view and users opinions and votes.
How does Talkingabout work?
By registering, you can upload information (video, text, image) to present a specific proposal and generate further discussion. At this time, other users can reply, vote, opinion, share knowledge or data in an open and easy way. This will build a collaborative discourse and a democratic form of learning, breaking the classic structure of transmitter and receiver. The users themselves highlight the most important contributions.
The use social networks can maintain and disseminate a particular dialogue, amplifying the opportunities for outreach and participation.
How Talkingabout would be used in PLE_BCN? The purpose of the demonstration session is to consider a process of discussion and informal education parallel to the conference.
Before the congress, we will record several interviews with various people involved in the PLE Conference under the tag #PLE_BCN. These videos will be linked in talkingabout.eu and a few days before the conference begins swe will promote a debate on the network, as well as promote more contributions on this information. It would be nice to spread the initiative to those who will attend the conference.
