The Friends of the Palomar College Arboretum Members Dinner Thursday, May 12, 2011 This was a special members dinner. We presented awards to honor and thank five people for their service and dedication to the Arboretum. Honoring Mr. Richard Borevitz for his many years of service and dedication to the Arboretum. Mary Borevitz Honoring Mr. Bob Kelly as one of the founding fathers of the Arboretum. Honoring Dr. Bill Adams for his generous endowment and dedication to the Arboretum. Honoring Mr. Dick Henderson for his many years of managing and caring for the cactus and succulent garden. Thank you to Alonna Farrar for creating the Aboretum Newsletter layouts and making sure it gets printed. Thank you to Steve Farrar for volunteering to give the fungus lecture in September. Honoring Emeritus Biology & Botany Professor Wayne Armstrong for his inspiring and advancing the education of nature.
