Problem
Access to content and context closes when courses end.
Problem
In the audio-visual digital world of today, text is no longer an effective means of learning transfer.
Text is just a technology,
useful for efficiency, but not necessarily effectiveness.
Online video is now replacing the one-to-many function of the technology of text.
Problem
The digital learning experience, as it is currently structured, does not reproduce a social community of learning. It is a solitary experience.
The experience of thinking and having your ideas challenged in real time is missing.
The "customer" is the learner, not the institution.
iLearn platforms will be video/audio-centric with background text support.
iLearn platforms will be designed with "social" as a central requirement. These will replicate the look and feel of a "Third Place" learning environment.
Problem
Major connectivity issues.
Designed by/to this experience.
eLearning is only as good as the connectivity it was designed for.
Problem
Increasing expenses of in-person experience-based training.
