News from a Bible translator:
1) Here is a picture of Theo* with the Messenger player from InTouch Ministries that you sent out. He was delighted! He is a retired pastor, has lots of kids around his house, has taken in orphans, and is a good guy.
2) We have given Mario,* our main mother-tongue translator, copies of books you produced in Plain Indonesian. He hasn't said much to us about them. But one day he was sitting in our front room when a young guy came from another village. The guy asked if we had any Bible dictionaries. Then Mario said, “If you read the Plain Indonesian Translation, its real clear and you won't need a Bible dictionary.”  (*The names have been changed.)

Praise: 80% of the publication costs are coming from an Indonesian donor.

Our second destination where we will promote the Plain Indonesian translation in one seminary and three churches.
This will be the first time for me to set foot on Kalimantan (also called Borneo),
which is home to 74 language groups on the Indonesian side. The other half of the island is part of Malaysia.
Indonesia has 750 languages. The Plain Indonesian translation targets millions of people for whom informal Indonesian is their 2nd language. There are 500 of these languages which have no Scripture in their mother tongue.
