Transcript: EARTH DAY We as humans use a majority of the fresh water here on earth. In fact only ten percent of water on Earth is fresh water. That is why we should use as less water when possible. Or make sure you turn the faucet off when you turn it on because a day a dripping faucet can waste 5 full gallons of water. When you take a shower you use 2.5 gallons of fresh water every minute. So try to take short showers so you can save the water ( and save the warm water for your family ). Or if you are drinking a water bottle make sure you drink all of it cause it could end up outside and the wind would blow it away and that would be both littering and wasting water.
