Find a geek (or two or ten) that want to work on the site,
but learn how to manage the site yourself, too.
Commit to the idea that online is more important
than your deadwood editions.

they don't let you "know your audience" the same way 
social networks do.
Keep it raised if you have a solid understanding of Facebook's privacy policies.

This is a very good question: If you are not, you should be very concerned.
