ODYSSEY PEER MENTORING Get started by completing the online application What is Peer Mentoring Designed to assist in the social, personal, and academic acclimation to KSU Odyssey Peer Mentoring has been in existence since 1999 and has proven to be successful for both the mentees and mentors. Mentor What is a Mentor Requirements Benefits Mentors help others discover the potential within themselves to succeed at school and in life. An effective mentor is respectful, reliable, patient, trustworthy, a good listener and an excellent communicator. Mentor is a leader who provides guidance, motivation, emotional support, friendship and role modeling. Must have completed two undergraduate semesters or one graduate semester at KSU Attend an information session or schedule an appointment to meet with the program coordinator. Submit an Odyssey Peer Mentor Application 2.0 or greater GPA Develop interpersonal skills Gain excellent leadership experience Enhance your professional resume Make a difference by helping others MENTEE Who can be a mentee?
