Transcript of Peace

Peace is the absence of war,

saying nice words when the discussion seems tough,
accepting different opinions,
agreeing to disagree,
...avoiding any kind of hate,
the list goes on

Assou Yahyaoui
Peace is the silence of a wood, the falling leaves, the white snow coming down, rain that makes us wet.. peace is the free indisturbed flow of nature.. we'll live in peace if we accept nature doing its course..
A piece of peace, that's what we all long for. Peace is contentment, with oneself and with the rest of the world. Peace is also the state of mind when one knows one has done one's best, even if not everybody gives you credit for it. Inner peace I would call it.
When life grieves you, when life drives you to live with your loneliness and when you start feeling isolation's painful essence, you'll seek refuge.
Yonder, just touch your heart and smile and remember that you have within you a precious treasure which is LOVE and
TENDERNESS. These latter make the one who left you wish to come back to you and the one who never met you dream to find a person like you.
The inward happiness you'll feel which should be your new doctrine is the peace you possess from within.
We need peace here and now when we are alive; we need peace inside us, between us, around us. Not an immobile, passive, indifferent peace, but a dynamic, progressive, caring peace, a godly peace; a peace pure and powerful that relaxes, reju...venates, heals, stabilizes, strengthens, charges the will to spread joy, love, laughter… The Testament articulates it beautifully:
Peace is the carefree lightness of being...whatever you do,you do it with the flow of your heart, whover you meet, you greet them with the genuine kindness.

Pauline Lin
Peace is not real peace until it's been tested in the storm. Peace is....
To walk when others are running
To whisper when others are shouting
To smile when others are angry
To pause when others are hurrying
...To pray when others are doubting
Peace is to know inner calm in spite of everything

Peace is when you are
able to forgive and forget
Peace is tied to freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

Inner peace is the ultimate goal and path to truth.

When we have inner peace, it radiates from us to the world outside, creating an harmonious vibration, the ultimate ripple effect.

Chaos in the world is a reflection of
disorder in the collective consciousness. Therefore to have peace in the world, we must first make peace with ourselves.

"Peace is not a moment in time. It's the backdrop to all that we think, feel and do."
When Sylvia asked for my quotation on Peace, I thought, ‘This will be good to do, and perhaps 'easy’. In the Christian church at every Communion service they have a physical exchange of ‘The Peace’, a shaking of hands, or even an embrace, accompanied by the words, ‘Peace be with you’. A lot of New Testament scripture is based on love and peace.

But then I thought, and thought, but couldn’t find anything just ‘right’. It was strange because I’m a peaceful person by nature and I encourage that in everyone. I reflected. And then realised that was it, my ‘quotation’:

‘Peace should come naturally, it should be in our nature. 'Peace be with you'.

Peace means embracing each other's differences and dealing with conflict in a kind, gentle way.
We tend to put the freedom of others in cages for we are afraid that their freedom will put our freedom into cages. Can tolerance teach and guide us on our path to peace?
Everyone has a right to live in peace. Peace is freedom and liberation. Peace within yourself can also bring peace to others, so it starts from you.

Peace & love
"Peace is contagious! Start spreading it!"
If there is to be peace in the world,
There must be peace in the nations.
If there is to be peace in the nations,
There must be peace in the cities.
If there is to be peace in the cities,
There must be peace between neighbors.
If there is to be peace between neighbors,
There must be peace in the home.
If there is to be peace in the home,
There must be peace in the heart.
