Conclusion
All in all, Obama is a very interesting president and won't be forgotten. Even though there has been plenty of contreversy over some of his political views and actions, he is our president; and he is OUR U.S. History.
President Barack Hussein Obama,Jr. is the nations 44th and current president.He is best known for being the first African-American (biracial) president . He has two daughters, a wife, and also a dog.He was a civil-rights lawyer and teacher before pursuing a political career.President Obama attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, then moved to New York City where he attended Columbia University and graduated with a BA in political science in 1983. Barack Obama also went to Harvard University, where he received his JD degree in 1991. He was elected editor of the Harvard Law Review; he was the first African-American editor of the Review.

Barack Obama met our First Lady Michelle Obama, then known as Michelle LaVaughn Robinson , in 1989 when Michelle was working at a downtown law firm and assigned the role of advisor to a summer associate from Harvard, which was Barack Obama. They were married on October 3, 1992 and Stevie Wonder's song, "You and I" was Michelle and Obama's wedding song. Six years later,Malia Ann Obama was born in the year of 1998, followed by Natasha Obama in 2001.

Obama was elected to the Illinois Senate in 1996, representing the 13th District as a Democrat. He was elected to the US Senate in 2004. He was keynote speaker at the Democratic National Convention in July 2004.
Presidency
Obama was elected into office in 2008. He has run for office once more in 2012 and was elected.His vice president is currently Joe Biden.Obama's political party is democratic. Barack obama is considered responsible for the plan of
"Obama Care".
There has been alot of contoversy about the plan.

Obama was too young to fight in any U.S wars.Obama did not have a

relationship with his father as a child.When Barack was still an infant, Obama Sr. relocated to Massachusetts to attend Harvard University, pursuing a Ph.D. Barack's parents separated ultimately divorced in March 1964, when he was 2. In 1965, Obama Sr. returned to Kenya.In 1965, Dunham remarried and a year later, the family moved to Jakarta, Indonesia, where Barack's half-sister,
Maya Soetoro Ng, was born. Several incidents in Indonesia caused Dunham to fear for Barack's safety and education. So, she sent him back to Hawaii to live with his maternal grandparents. His mother and sister joined them later.One of his role models is Abraham Lincoln, and he has spoken of his admiration for Martin Luther King. Interestingly, he has also spoken of the deep respect and love he had for his grandmother, who raised him after his mother became ill.

Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His mother, Ann Dunham, grew up in Wichita, Kansas;and his father, Barack Obama Sr., was born of Luo ethnicity in Nyanza Province, Kenya.
