7 Components of a Computer

Mother board-
the spine of the computer. Everything connects to it. 

Power supply unit (PSU)-
 delivers electricity like the heart delivers blood
CPU-
Central processing Unit, it does all the calculation(=computing) for  the computer. Is the brain of the computer
CD rom drive-
A floppy holds MB. A CD holds 700MB (approximately 80min. of audio) A single layer DVD hold 4.7GB and a dual layer DVD in general is 8.5GB
RAM-
Random Access Memory. Short term memory of the computer; 
it helps speeding up the processes of the CPU  

Hard drive (HDD)-
its magnetic disks on which holds all the information of a computer. It is its long term memory
Video card-
 Displays images on your screen
