Facebook in 1st Grade
How we use Facebook
Status Updates
- Whenever we have a class event an invitation is sent through Facebook.
- Parents are able to RSVP, get important information and ask questions about the event.
- Facebook notes are a great way for us to communicate with parents.
- These notes allow us to share more formal information than what may be used in a status update.
- Private messages are akin to email, but the parent doesn't have to sign into something else.
- We can upload albums directly to Facebook.
- We can also use the pictures application to show off student work.
Student Work
- We can show friends of our Facebook page exactly what we are doing in the classroom with moving pictures and sound.
