- 00:32 - 00:32
Our agenda.
- 00:33 - 00:35
We are going to spend some time with introductions and
- 00:35 - 00:38
good things, then move on to the event concept event
- 00:39 - 00:42
overview how we can get our students involved, do kind
- 00:42 - 00:44
of a budget overview and then voting in decisions.
- 00:49 - 00:50
So Miss Burgess and I are going to talk about
- 00:51 - 00:51
the event concept.
- 00:52 - 00:56
Um Our event is going to be a community builder
- 00:57 - 00:57
and a fundraiser.
- 00:58 - 01:01
We are looking at it to be some performance opportunities
- 01:02 - 01:03
from for some of our students as well.
- 01:04 - 01:07
And we this event is going to have to be
- 01:08 - 01:10
an outdoor event due to the current covid guidelines.
- 01:11 - 01:14
So all activities are going to have to happen out
- 01:15 - 01:17
in the black top and lawn area.
- 01:18 - 01:21
Um, we will also of course be following all of
- 01:21 - 01:24
the safety mandates and that kind of thing.
- 01:25 - 01:29
But we're also looking to have some community things that
- 01:30 - 01:33
um, will be community builders such as food trucks and
- 01:33 - 01:35
yard games on top of the student performances.
- 01:39 - 01:41
Now, we're going to turn it over to tanner kelly
- 01:42 - 01:43
for some student involvement.
- 01:47 - 01:51
Mr kelly student performances by audition.
- 01:51 - 01:54
So they're going to audition to have their performance included
- 01:54 - 01:55
in the show.
- 01:55 - 01:57
A student council fundraiser.
- 01:57 - 01:59
We're going, the student council is going to be having
- 02:00 - 02:03
a face painting fundraiser in order to raise funds for
- 02:03 - 02:05
our parking lot renewal.
- 02:06 - 02:08
And then we're also going to be looking for student
- 02:08 - 02:13
volunteers to help run certain parts of the events, such
- 02:13 - 02:15
as some of the yard games and that kind of
- 02:15 - 02:18
thing. Yeah.
- 02:19 - 02:20
So on to our next steps.
- 02:21 - 02:23
Um, we need to discuss some of the budget stuff
- 02:24 - 02:27
and come to a conclusion on who is going to
- 02:27 - 02:30
be able to contribute, um, what funds to this project.
- 02:31 - 02:34
So we're looking for some funds from the P.
- 02:34 - 02:34
C. A.
- 02:35 - 02:38
In regards to buying certain supplies for the event.
- 02:39 - 02:42
And then parker Performing Arts will also supply some of
- 02:42 - 02:46
the budget as well um, in order to match that
- 02:49 - 02:50
in order to match with the P.
- 02:50 - 02:50
C. A.
- 02:51 - 02:54
Um, this event should cost no more than about $500
- 02:55 - 02:56
in regards to supplies.
- 02:58 - 03:01
Um, we also need to talk about delegating the tasks.
- 03:01 - 03:05
Who's going to be looking for performances, auditions, who's going
- 03:05 - 03:08
to write the contracts with the food trucks and that
- 03:08 - 03:08
kind of thing.
- 03:09 - 03:12
Um, and make any of our fundraiser decisions as well.
- 03:13 - 03:17
So for the rest of the meeting, we're going to
- 03:17 - 03:18
talk about this kind of thing.
- 03:18 - 03:21
At the end, we will have a vote and decide
- 03:22 - 03:24
where some of the stuff may come from.
- 03:24 - 03:26
If we need to move any of these points on
- 03:26 - 03:29
to a future meeting, then that is acceptable as well.
- 03:30 - 03:30
Thank you.
