Teen Vaping PowerPoint

Transcript: By: Kenadie Schmutz Teenage Vaping The Effects of Teen Vaping Teenage Vaping can affect many ways a still developing Teenager interacts with a fellow student at school or interactions that may occur at home as well as at jobs. Teenagers are affected by vaping by a slower brain function, memory, concentration, learning, self-control, attention, and mood. The side effects that would affect life at school would be the side effects such as brain function and memory. Teenagers who are vaping will not be able to engage in activities to the maximum potential they could compared to other students who are not pumping this chemical into their bodies. These side effects also affect the ways a teenager would learn a lesson, initially affecting tests and homework the student is required to do while in school. These chemicals affect your attitude and mood, which will affect how you do certain things and act. Areas where these side effects can affect home life, would be self-control and mood. Often teenagers who have already started this addiction cannot stop and will not stop. Once a teenager has created this addiction, it is more likely for the teenager to switch to E-cigarettes and eventually cigarettes teenagers who half a nicotine addiction are more susceptible to alcohol abuse as well. For teenagers, vaping can affect every aspect of their everyday life, and the teenagers who have started this addiction will more than likely not be able to stop. Marketing Techniques Ways Teenagers are tied in through marketing There are many ways multi-million dollar companies reach out to teenagers. One of these techniques would be the flavors these companies produce; there are over fifteen thousand different flavors that consumers can choose from. Because of the wide range of different flavors of juices, it makes vaping even more appealing for consumers, including teenagers, who want to buy these horrible chemicals. Another marketing technique these companies use is devices you can vape through that can easily be hidden. Devices include vaping hoodies, backpacks, phone cases, pens, smart watches, and USB drives that can easily be hidden while a teenager is at school. These addictions ravage a teenager's way of thinking, and the only thing an addicted teenager would be worried or concerned about is when they can vape again or essentially get their next fix. There are more than four hundred different types of vaping devices. The wide range of options makes it even more appealing to consumers; many consumers are teenagers. These vaping companies also have a big social media market. Marketing on Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube platforms makes these vape products more known to teenagers by seeing them in ads. These social media platforms are popular among teenagers, not coincidentally. The Exposure Theory Theory The theory that I had chosen for my paper was the Exposure Theory. This is a theory that states; individuals' tendency to favor information that reinforces their pre-existing views while avoiding contradictory information. It ties with teen vaping because many teenagers are exposed to teen vaping, and the ones exposed are more susceptible to starting the addiction themselves.

However, some templates may cost more money depending on the complexity of the game. Classroom Games that Make Test Review and Memorization Fun! (n.d.). The, decide and create a series of questions that are to be asked during the game. 3. By hyper linking certain answers to different slides, the game jumps from slide to slide while playing the game. 4. This kind of setup is normally seen as a simple quiz show game. Popular game templates include: Family Feud Millionaire Jeopardy and other quiz shows. http://www.free-power-point-templates.com/deal-powerpoint-template/ Quick video on template "Millionaire" PowerPoint Games Some games are easier to make compared to others If users are unsure whether or not downloading certain templates is safe, you can actually make your own game by just simply using PowerPoint. add logo here References Example of a Family Feud Template PowerPoint Games are a great way to introduce new concepts and ideas You can create a fun, competitive atmosphere with the use of different templates You can change and rearrange information to correlate with the topic or idea being discussed. Great with students, workers, family, etc. For example: With games like Jeopardy and Family Feud, players can pick practically any answers. The person who is running the game will have to have all of the answers in order to determine if players are correct or not. However, with a game like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, the players only have a choice between answers, A, B, C, or D. Therefore, when the player decides their answer, the person running the game clicks it, and the game will tell them whether they are right or wrong.

Transcript: Templates The key to generic programs a simple code! Output? Answer Namespaces Namespace is a feature added in C++ and not present in C. A namespace is a declarative region that provides a scope to the identifiers (names of the types, function, variables etc) inside it. Multiple namespace blocks with the same name are allowed. Templates Templates Templates are powerful features of C++ which allows you to write generic programs. In simple terms, you can create a single function or a class to work with different data types using templates. Advantages: Readability Flexibility Re-usability Function Template FUnction Templates A single function template can work with different data types at once but, a single normal function can only work with one set of data types. Normally, if you need to perform identical operations on two or more types of data, you use function overloading. However, a better approach would be to use function templates because you can perform the same task writing less and maintainable code. Example Sometimes, you need a class implementation that is same for all classes, only the data types used are different. Normally, you would need to create a different class for each data type OR create different member variables and functions within a single class. This will unnecessarily bloat your code base and will be hard to maintain, as a change is one class/function should be performed on all classes/functions. Class Template Class Templates Example virtual functions virtual functions Virtual functions ensure that the correct function is called for an object, regardless of the type of reference (or pointer) used for function call. They are mainly used to achieve Run-time polymorphism. The prototype of virtual functions should be same in base as well as derived class. They are always defined in base class and overridden in derived class. It is not mandatory for derived class to override Example Pass by reference Pass-by-reference means to pass the reference of an argument in the calling function to the corresponding formal parameter of the called function. The called function can modify the value of the argument by using its reference passed in. Does not copy the arguments. The formal parameter is an alias for the argument. References cannot be NULL.
